目的探討血管內皮生長因子(VEGF)及微血管密度(MVD)與胃癌臨床病理因素的關系。方法應用免疫組織化學(SP)方法測定胃癌及胃良性病變中VEGF表達及MVD。結果胃癌組VEGF表達陽性率為75.0%，胃良性病變組為5.0%(P＜0.05)； 未浸潤漿膜層者為50.0%，浸潤漿膜層者為95.5%(P＜0.05)； 有淋巴結轉移者為82.8%，無淋巴結轉移者為54.5%(P＜0.05)； 伴有遠處轉移者為100%，不伴有遠處轉移者為71.0%(P＜0.05)； pTNM分期屬Ⅰ、Ⅱ期者為53.1%，Ⅲ、Ⅳ期者為89.6%(P＜0.05)。胃良性病變的MVD顯著低于胃癌組(P＜0.001); 浸潤深度達漿膜層、有淋巴結轉移和遠處轉移及pTNM屬Ⅲ、Ⅳ期者的MVD顯著升高，其差異有顯著性意義。VEGF表達與MVD明顯相關。結論VEGF上調及MVD增加對胃癌生長具有促進作用。
